Professional Beta Reading - US$25 SALE! US$15 per 10,000 words (1 round)

I offer professional beta reading for fiction manuscripts (plot, pacing, character development, and light content editing.) This service is ideal for authors who need a second set of eyes or a double check, especially if you feel like you've read through your book so many times, you've developed manuscript fatigue.

I will go through your manuscript, make in-line notes where required, and then email you an overall report of my findings. I may find the occasional typo, however, full proofreading, grammar or line editing is not included in this service.

My favorite genres are fantasy romance, romantasy, sci-fi romance, romantic comedy, contemporary romance, young adult/new adult romance, I accept any steam/swearing level. I accept stories with any content warning/triggers, but will need to be informed of them beforehand. 

Complete manuscripts only. Turnaround depends on word count, e.g. 100,000 words would be about 2-3 weeks. Only 1-2 slots per month available. Feel free to contact me to check availability or to book your slot.

US$30.00 non-refundable deposit is required upon booking, with remaining cost to be paid before I send you my final report. No AI is used for beta reading services. I will not distribute or share your manuscript with anyone.

Proofreading Add-on/Upgrade - additional US$20 per 10,000 words (1 round)

As part of my beta reading process, I will occasionally come across typos and errors commonly missed by spellcheck, e.g. words that are spelled correctly, but aren't technically the right word to use, or those missed by the several rounds of re-reads. If you'd like a more involved reading/full proofreading of your manuscript, please mention you'd like the proofreading add-on to your beta read. This is ideal for authors who have already had a round of beta reads/edits or would also like a quality check readthrough of their completed manuscript. This service does not include grammar/line editing.
